私たちはマインドロックアワードを通じて、ロックンロールの精神を称え、ラブアンドピースの理念を世界中に発信することを目指しています。

マインドロックとは、音楽のジャンルではなく、生き様です。

そして今回、内田裕也さんと共に、私たちのメッセージを日本全国そして世界中へ届けることができることを誇りに思います。彼はロックンロールを信じ、そのマインドを貫き通した偉大なアーティストです。

私たちは彼のマインドを受け継ぎ、愛と平和のメッセージを世界中に広めていく使命を胸に抱いています。横須賀の特別な地で、私たちはロックンロールと愛と平和の尊さを共有し、世界を変える一歩を踏み出すのです。

Hello everyone!
I am Katsuaki Kamiji, mayor of Yokosuka City.

Yokosuka is a special place where American and Japanese cultures intersect. The rock ‘n roll that resonates here will create a special energy and spread the message of love and peace to the world.

Through the Mind Rock Award, we aim to honor the spirit of rock ‘n roll and spread the philosophy of love and peace to the world.

“Mind Rock” is not a musical genre, but a way of life. And this time, we are proud to be able to deliver our message to all of Japan and the world, together with Yuya Uchida. He was a great artist who believed in rock ‘n roll and embodied its spirit.

We inherit his spirit and continue his mission to spread the message of love and peace to the world. In Yokosuka, we value the cultural impact and power of rock ‘n roll, love and peace, and continue to challenge ourselves to change the world.
